Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has released the admit card for State Service Examination at psc.cg.gov.in on February 07, 2019. The CGPSC admit card has been issued for the preliminary examination to be held on February 17, 2019. The candidates who have enrolled their names for the examination before January 05, 2019 can download the admit card. The candidates have to enter the user id and password to download the admit card.
The examination will be held in two shifts for two papers I and II, the paper I will be for General studies will be conducted in the morning shift. In paper II Aptitude related question will be asked and paper will be conducted in the afternoon session.
The morning shift will start from 10 am to 12 pm. The second shift will start at 03 pm and will conclude at 05 pm. The candidate has to appear for the examination at the reporting time provided by the Commission and as indicated in the admit card.
The preliminary examination is going to be held in pen paper mode at the chosen center. A total 16 district has been chosen for conducting the prelims exam in the state, Ambikapur, Baikunthpur, Bilaspur, Dhamtari, Durg – Bhilai, Dantewada, Jagdalpur, Jajagir, Jaspur, Kabirdham, Kanker, Korba, Mahasmund, Raipur, Raigarh, Rajnandgaon.
The candidates have to carry the hard copy of the admit card and a valid photo id proof in the examination hall such as Aadhaar Card, Voter id card, PAN Card Driving License, or any government issued id card. On failure to produce the documents, the candidates will not be allowed to write the exam.
The recruitment of the candidates is based on the three stages of examination, preliminary, main and interview. The prelims exam is of 400 hundred marks in which General studies is of 200 marks and Aptitude is for another 200 marks. Both papers will have 100 MCQ’s. There is the provision of negative marking as well. On each wrong answer, 2/3 marks will be deducted. In order to qualify the State services exam, it is mandatory to obtain minimum qualifying marks in each stage of the exam. The Unreserved category candidate has to obtain 33% marks while reserved category candidates have to score a minimum of 23%. The candidates should qualify both papers separately.
After the prelims exam, the result will be released on the official website of Commission. The qualifiers of the examination have to again apply for the main exam. The number of candidates equals to the 15 times of the vacancy will be called for the main examination. The qualifiers of the main examination will have to appear in the interview.
