Chhattisgarh Health and Family Welfare Department is inviting online applications to fill up 569 vacancies for the post of Staff Nurse. Eligible and intending candidates can apply for the recruitment till August 31, 2020. An official recruitment notification is published in this regard at the website of the department i.e. cghealth.nic.in. Candidates must note that only permanent residents of the state of Chhattisgarh are eligible to apply for this recruitment.
As per the recruitment notification published by the Health Department, the 569 vacancies are bifurcated across various constitutional categories. Eligible applicants will be shortlisted for appointment to fill up these vacancies. Initially, the appointment will be made for a period of 03 years only. There are 92 vacancies available in Raipur, 191 in Bilaspur, 135 in Sarguja and 151 in Bastar. Selected candidates will be appointed at the Grade III, Pay Level 07 in the pay scale of 5200 – 20200 for Grade Pay of Rs 2800. Applicants must, however, fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions before applying for the recruitment.
In order to apply for recruitment to the post of Staff Nurse, candidates must have a B.Sc. (Nursing) degree or PBBSC Nursing or GNM Nursing qualification. In addition, candidates must have valid registration with the Nursing Council. The minimum age of the applicants must be at least 18 years in order to apply. The maximum permissible upper age limit is 35 years. However, relaxations on the upper age is applicable to candidates belonging to special reserved categories. Selection of the eligible applicants is to be done on the basis of minimum educational qualifications and experience. Merit list of candidates shortlisted for final appointment will be done on the basis of marks obtained against the above mentioned parameters. 85 marks weightage is allocated to the possession of minimum educational qualifications while 15 marks weightage are allocated for experience.
