CSIR Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CEERI) has published a latest recruitment notification at the official website i.e. ceeri.res.in. The Institute is inviting suitably qualified candidates to appear in written test/interview to be conducted on January 19 and 20, 2021. CEERI has advertised contractual vacancies in 41 temporary posts which are to be filled up by conducting the aforementioned selection tests. Eligible and interested candidates can appear as per schedule in the test/interview along with specified documents for recruitment to the advertised posts. Selected candidates are to be appointed for a monthly stipend based employment.
The central institute has published the complete vacancy bifurcation details on its official website indicating the distribution of vacancies across the available posts. As per the notification, the vacancies are available for the posts of Electrician (08), Fitter (05), Turner (02), Electronics Mechanic (06), Machinist (01), RAC (03), Carpenter (01), Sheet Metal (01), Welder (01), Library Assistant (03), Programming & System Administration Assistant (03), COPA (03), Gardener (03) and Laboratory Assistant – Chemistry (01).
All the vacancies are to be filled up on a contractual basis only. As such, candidates who are selected and appointed cannot claim for permanent employment under the Institute after completion of the contract terms. Candidates are to be paid a monthly stipend as per regulations applicable to the recruitment.
CEERI Recruitment 2021 Electrician, Fitter & Others Detailed Notification
All applicants are advised to read the official recruitment notification carefully before applying for this recruitment. The Institute has specified certain minimum educational qualifications that must be held by the applicants. Candidates intending to apply for this recruitment cannot be more than 28 years old. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories including SC/ST, OBC and PWD are entitled for relaxations on the upper age limit as per Government norms in vogue.
Post-wise details of the minimum educational/technical qualification are indicated by CEERI in the official advertisement. Candidates can check out the same and ensure that they are holding such qualifications before applying. For the posts of Electrician, Fitter, Turner, Electronic Mechanic, Machinist, RAC and Carpenter, candidates who have passed Class 10 and have an ITI certificate in relevant trade are eligible to apply. Class 8th pass candidates who have an ITI certificate are eligible to apply for the posts of Sheet Metal and Welder. For the post of Library Assistant, one must have passed Class 12 exam.
