Admit cards for the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED), 2022 will be released tomorrow at ceed.iitb.ac.in. The exam is to be conducted on January 23, 2022, Sunday from 9 am to 12 noon. Candidates are required to take a clear printout of the admit card, along with an ID proof before attending the exam. In case candidates find any error or discrepancy in the admit card, they can email their grievances at [email protected] by 5 p.m. till January 14, 2022.
How to Download CEED Admit card?
Once the admit card link is activated, candidates can follow the steps given below to download the admit card:
Step 1: Visit the CEED official website, ceed.iitb.ac.in
Step 2: Find the link to download the admit card, candidates might find it under the ‘Updates’ section
Step 3: On the next page, applicants are required to log in using their credentials like email ID and password
Step 4: Candidates can now download their admit card
CEED 2022 is scheduled to take place in the following cities: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Ernakulam, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, and Visakhapatnam. Candidates should look for the exam city allotted to them in the admit card.
The important dates for the CEED exam have been provided on the official site. The draft answer key of Part A and candidates’ responses will be released on January 25, 2022. Candidates can submit the discrepancies on the answer key till January 27, 2022, at 5 p.m. Following this, the final answer key will be published on January 31, 2022. The cut-off marks for Part A will be released on Feb 10, 2022. The results will be published on March 8, 2022. Candidates will be able to download the scorecard from March 12 to June 14, 2022, from the official website.
CEED 2022 Exam Pattern
The exam will have 2 parts- Part A and B. Part A is computer-based and has a total of 41 questions of 3 types- Numerical Answer Type, Multiple Choice Questions, and Multiple Select Questions. Part B consists of 5 questions that test the drawing and writing skills of the candidates. The questions will be displayed on the computer screen and should be attempted on the answer book provided. In the final score, 25% weightage will be given to Part A and 75% weightage will be given to Part B.
CEED is a joint entrance exam conducted by IITs and IISc, primarily IIT- Bombay for admission to M.Des and Ph.D. programmes in various institutions. Candidates who have completed their graduation or are in the final year of their course or those who have passed the GD Arts Diploma can apply for CEED. There is no age limit or a maximum number of attempts to apply for the exam.
