The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examination, Kerala, has announced the result for KEAM 2018 today at 12:10 PM. The entrance test was held on April 23 and 24, 2018 for Paper 1 (Physics, Chemistry) and Paper 2 (Mathematics).
The candidates can check their result online at the official website, cee-kerala.org. To check the result, the candidates need to click on the link for KEAM 2018 Result and then enter Application Number and Password to check the result. Submit the details and the result will appear on the screen.
As per the official reports, 90233 students appeared for both the papers of the Engineering Entrance Examination, out of which, 58268 students have qualified under Engineering Stream and 47974 students have qualified under Pharmacy stream out of the 64795 students opted and appeared for the Pharmacy Entrance Examination (Paper I of the Engineering Entrance Examination).
The CEE Kerala had published the answer key for KEAM 2018 at its official website on April 24, 2018. On the basis of the complaint regarding the questions/answer keys received and the same, changes were made in the answer keys. Six questions have been deleted from valuation in Engineering Paper II (Mathematics).
Only those who have scored at least 10 marks in Paper 1 and Paper 2 have been declared as qualified. There is no cut off minimum marks for SC/ST category candidates. However, CEE Kerala will disqualify candidates who fail to answer at least one question in each paper.
The qualifiers of the entrance examination will now have to submit/verify the marks obtained by them in the qualifying examination (Plus Two or equivalent) for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology in order to prepare the Engineering rank list 2018.
CEE, Kerala, will publish the rank list for courses such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Medical, Architecture, etc separately at its official website. The rank list for Engineering and Pharmacy will be published by 3rd week of June 2018.
For the preparation of the Rank list, equal weightage of 50:50 will be given to given to the marks obtained in the Entrance Examination for Engineering (Paper I & Paper II put together) and the grade/marks obtained for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer. The candidates will also get the category/community-wise list based on the rank list will also be published in due course.
After the rank list is published, those candidates who name is in it will be eligible for KEAM 2018 Counselling. The CEE, Kerala, will conduct a centralized allotment process through a single window system The candidates are allotted a seat on the basis of the rank obtained in KEAM 2018, preferences submitted and availability of seats.
