Chief District Medical and Public Health Officer is recruiting eligible candidates for the vacant posts of Paramedics. Aspirants are invited for the walk-in-interview for the recruitment of announced posts accordingly. A total of 21,000 vacancies are announced for the COVID Care Centres. In the ongoing pandemic situation, the Government of Odisha has announced recruitment for 7,000 trained manpower for COVID Care Homes of the state for each post. The activities in the COVID Care Centrs will be managed by ANMs. In each Centre, 01 unemployed, trained ANM is appointed. In case, ANMs are not available, the unemployed and trained Staff Nurses or Pharmacists are engaged in their place. The recruited candidates are paid on a daily wage basis. Aspirants shortlisted as ANMs gets Rs. 850/-, Staff Nurse gets Rs. 1000/- per day and Pharmacist receives R.s 1000/- per day.
Candidates who are unemployed and trained are considered for the recruitment of ANM, Staff Nurse and Pharmacist. Also, they must be registered as ANMs, Staff Nurse and Pharmacist with recognized Medical Councils. To apply for the announced posts, applicants have to follow the offline procedure. Eligible aspirants can get the application form from the official website, deogarh.nic.in. The application form link is available under the notice > recruitment > Advertisement for the appointment of Paramedics staff. In the application form, candidates have to provide the advertisement number, name of the post they are applying for, identity proof, district of domicile, age as on the interview, languages known and professional qualification. If candidates have post qualification experience, they can mention the same in the application form. Aspirants are also asked to provide their preference of the district. The filled in the application form should be submitted to the Office of the Chief District Medical and Public Health Officer, Deogarh, Odisha.
The recruitment of candidates is only on a contractual basis for a period of 03 months. The appointment may get extended depending on the COVID-19 situation. Aspirants who satisfy the eligibility norms are invited for the walk-in-interview round. The schedule for the same will be intimated accordingly. In this round, candidate’s eligibility, their knowledge about the field and other related questions are asked. The recruitment to a particular district Panchayat depends on the vacancies available.
