It is expected that the Central Board of Secondary Education will release the CBSE Date Sheet 2019 for class 10 and 12 students in the month of December 2018. But the date sheet may be prepared considering the JEE Main 2019 January exams. Currently, the board is concluding the process of registration of class 10 and class 12. After the completion of the registrations, CBSE would release the date sheet for the students who are going to appear for the 2019 session exams.
The CBSE board would release the exam dates for the practical exams first followed by the theory exams. This year, the board instigate various changes in the date sheet. The major changes may be made in the practical exam dates for class 12.
The National Testing Agency will conduct the JEE Main exam twice a year from 2019 onwards. The exam dates have already been specified by NTA. JEE Main 2019 January exams will be held from January 06 to January 20, 2019, in the various shifts. Thus, it is expected that CBSE would consider this situation and would decide the practical dates because a large number of candidates of class 12 apply for JEE Main also. So, it would be very stressful for them to manage both exams if CBSE will not take care of this situation.
Usually, the practical exams for Class 10 and 12 use to be held in the month of January. Last year, the board conducted the practical exams from January 15 to January 25, 2018. So, analyzing the previous year’s exam dates, the students may get the changes in the schedule.
In 2018 Physical Education exam, there was a clash of JEE Main and PE exam. Earlier, PE was scheduled to be held on April 9, 2018. But considering the JEE Main examination dates CBSE scheduled the paper on April 13, 2018.
So, as the solution, the board may stretch the practical dates for class 12 students. CBSE may pre-pone the exams also. According to some teachers, CBSE may even give schools the time to conduct the practicals in December itself. However, many said that it is not possible.
On the other hand, the schools have started the pre-board exams for the students of class 10 and 12. Some of them also shared the concern over the examinations. Especially for the students who are also going to appear for JEE Main 2019 January exams.
The written exams are expected to begin after February 15, 2019. The board will conduct the exams for the vocational subjects. Then the students who have opted the core subjects will be able to write the exams. So, CBSE Board exams 2019 will be held in the month of February 2019 and in March 2019 for the same.
Cbse class 12 examination need to be preponed considering university admissions. But why the need of preponding for 10th. No school will start 11th before May end. So it is better the board comducts exam for 10th as usual and any change need to be informed at the beginning of the academic year.
