For the first time, CBSE is providing the mark sheet of CTET 2018 and Eligibility Certificate via DigiLocker. The press note regarding releasing the Mark sheet and Eligibility Certificate has been provided on the CTET’s website at ctet.nic.in by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The notice was released on yesterday i.e. January 09, 2019.

All the candidates who have appeared in the examination held on December 09, 2018 are provided their mark sheet digitally. The result of CTET 2018 has been declared on January 04, 2019. The mark sheet is signed digitally, and legally valid as per the IT Act. But Eligibility Certificate is being provided to only qualified candidates of CTET 2018.

How to get mark sheet and eligibility certificate now?

All the candidates have to download the DigiLocker mobile application to open their documents. They don’t need to create an account on the app. Because CBSE will create the account itself for all candidates who appeared in the exam. The credentials of the account will be conveyed to the candidates on their registered mobile number. The candidates have to use their credentials to get their mark sheet and Eligibility certificate.

To enhance the security of the document, these will have the QR codes. The codes can be verified via DigiLocker App.

How CBSE use to send the certificates until the last time?

As per the notification of CTET 2018, CBSE was supposed to send the CTET Eligibility certificates via speed post to all the qualified candidates. And the mark sheet of the CTET was supposed to be sent via normal post. But suddenly CBSE took initiative.

Reason Behind the CBSEs’ New Intiative

CBSE provided the vaild explanation behind this move. As per CBSE, this big initiative has been taken to minimize the use of physical mark sheets and optimize the resources, as with zero paper work candidates will get their documents. This will save the money and use of paper, as CBSE used to send these documents via post. Apart from this, the move will encourage the candidates towards the digital empowerment and will increase the convenience for the candidates they can get their documents any time. And it will be more easy to validate the authenticity of the document.

This year CBSE used the same trend for assigning the mark sheet of class 10th and 12th after Board exam.

The candidates who couldn’t qualify the CTET 2018 this time, can try again with more efforts. The next Central Teacher Eligibility Test will be held on July 07, 2019. Very soon CBSE will release the notification of the examination.
