CBSE releasing JEE Main 2018 official answer key on April 24, result on April 30

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to release the JEE Main 2018 official Answer Key on April 24, 2018. The exam was held on April 8, 2018. Answer keys of Paper 1 for both, online and offline mode to be released for all the codes, A, B, C, and D. The answer key and images of the OMR sheet of pen and paper exam, as well as the computer-based exam, to be available online. Students can check the answer keys on the official website http://www.jeemain.nic.in. The Answer key will be available on the website until April 27, 2018. Results for JEE Main Paper 1 will be announced on April 30 and for Paper 2 on April 31, 2018

The Official Answer Key of JEE Main will consist of corrects answers to the questions which were asked in the exam. The candidate from here can cross-check and compare the answers against what they had answered in the exam. A probable score can be attained using the answer key. The candidate can predict whether or not he/ she will be able to make it to counseling and seat allocation.

The candidates can download the answer key from the official website. After visiting the site search for JEE MAIN 2018 answer key Download Option. Click on the link and choose between Paper 1 or Paper 2. The answer key will appear on the webpage. Candidates can download the key and print it for further use.

In case of any disagreement with the Answer Key, candidates can challenge it by April 27, 2018. The procedure requires the candidate to log in by using his JEE Main Application Number and Password. After which he/she needs to click on the ‘Challenge Answer Key’ option. Fill the application and upload a proof of the challenge. It is mandatory to pay Rs.1000 for each question challenged by the candidate. In case the challenge is found correct by the expert committee, payment will be refunded to the candidate and a final answer key will be released.

Each year CBSE conducts Joint Entrance Examination for students aspiring to get admission in India’s most prestigious Universities. The exam is conducted at the national level for admission to pursue engineering at undergraduate level. There are two Paper, Paper 1 is for BE/ BTech courses for admission to NIT, IIIT, CFTIs, and SFIs and Paper 2 is for B.Arch and B.Planning course in other colleges of the country.
