Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) is expected to release the results of Class 12 board examinations by April 25, 2018, as per the reports. Once the HP Board Class 12th Result is announced, candidates can check the same on the official website of the board i.e. hpbose.org. Approximately 98,302 students appeared for the Class 12 exams, which were held from March 6 to March 29.
The candidates have to enter few details like roll numbers to access the results online. Thus, it is advised to keep details like their hall tickets, roll numbers, other required items handy. The portal may experience some glitches, as large number of candidates will be active on it at the same time to check their results. In such case, instead of panicking, try again after some time.
This year to take avoid copying, authorities had installed closed-circuit television or CCTV cameras inside the examination halls to control the students from copying during the exam. Right now, the answer sheets are being evaluated at designated centres to avoid any discrepancies.
Last year, HPBOSE had declared 72.89% students successful in the Class 12 exams. Approximately 1,01,945 students took part in the exam. There were around 30,481 students of Science stream and passed students were 23,467. For Arts stream, there were 56,083 students and 38,616 were passed. 15,381 students belonged to Commerce stream in which 11,587 were passed.
The topper of 2017 is Ritik Kandoria. He got 492 marks out of 500. His percentage was 98.40%. This year, it will be exciting to see the marks of the topper.
Although last year the number of students appearing in class 12 boards dropped drastically. In 2016, approximately 4,43,216 students took HPBOSE Class 12 Exam. But in 2017, only 1,01,945 students appeared for the examination.
