CBSE Opens Correction in List of Candidates (LOC); Remove errors before 27 Jan

CBSE Opening Link for Correction in LOC on January 25

The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the notification regarding the correct in the list of the candidates on January 23, 2019. Yesterday, the board had also provided the link for the affiliated schools to download the CBSE Admit Card 2019 for class 10 and 12. If the respective school principals find any error on the admit card then they will be able to update the list of the candidates (LOC) from January 25 to 27, 2019. They will be given three days for the correction.

The correction can be started at 10:00 am on January 25, 2019. The corrections in the LOC can be made till 5:00 pm on January 27, 2019. The schools can be correct any of the information of the candidates except their date of birth of class 10 students and the chosen subjects of class 10 and 12 candidates.

The affiliated schools are advised to correct all the information within the defined time period. After the given time duration, the request for any kind of correct will not be entertained.

When the corrections will be done in the students’ data, the authority should take the printouts of the corrections after signing. The printouts are required to be sent to the regional office. The last date to do it February 02, 2019.

CBSE Opening Link for Correction in LOC on January 25, 2019

The notice regarding the corrections in LOC is available online on the official website of the CBSE Board i.e. at cbse.nic.in. It is present under the section named “In Focus”. Click on the link and the notification will appear. The link to download is also available in the same section. The school principals need to click on the link and then a new page will occur. On that page, they are required to enter the user id, password, and the security pin shown in the given section.

The admit card contains all the important information related to the candidates and the exams. It possesses the details such as the name of the board, exam name, exam type, class name, the code of the school, the name of the school, candidate’s name, roll number, enrollment number, date of birth, the chosen subjects’ name with the subject codes, exam date, the day of the exam, and some other important particulars. So, it is mandatory to carry the admit card at the time of going for CBSE Board exams.

The board exams for class 10 will begin from February 21 to March 29, 2019. For class 12, the CBSE board will conduct the board exams from February 15 to April 04, 2019.

The board has made some changes in the CBSE 12th Date Sheet 2019. The exam of Informatics Practices and Computer Science will now be held on April 02, 2019. Also, the board exams of Philosophy/ Entrepreneurship/ Human Rights and Gender Studies/ Theater Studies/ Library & Info Science will be conducted on April 04, 2019. The rest of the CBSE Date Sheet 2019 is the same for class 12
