The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release CBSE date sheet 2021 today. The date sheet for class 10 and 12 board exams will be available at cbse.gov.in and cbse.nic.in. The same shall also be available at the official website, notice board, and social media handles of the respective schools.

Until now the only announcement made regarding the dates of CBSE board exams for class 10 and 12 is that the exams will commence from May 4 and will end on June 10, 2021. These dates have been announced by the education minister himself, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’.

Students should also note that CBSE is yet not announced timetable for class 10 and 12 exams. There are some fake date sheets that are being circulated on social media. The official Twitter handle of the PIB fact check has confirmed that the schedule shared upon the social media is fake. It quoted: “A date sheet for Class 12th & 10th Exams 2020-21 allegedly issued by the #CBSE is in circulation on social media. #PIBFactCheck: This date sheet is #Fake. Although, @DrRPNishank has announced that Class 10th & 12th Board Examinations will be held from 4th May to 10th June 2021.”

To check the date sheet, candidates have to visit the official website of CBSE, cbse.gov.in and there students have to locate the link for ‘classes 10, 12 date sheets’. On clicking the link the class 10/ 12 exam schedule will appear on the screen in PDF format. Students must download and take a print out of it.

As per several reports, this will be the shortest date sheet for Class XII students. Going by the reports CBSE will try and conclude Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics papers of Class 12 in the first two weeks due to the JEE Main 2021 examination, which is scheduled to begin on May 24, 2021.

As per the teachers, the number of gaps or days between 2 papers will be less this time. Usually, the board completes an entire series of exams in 50 days. This year the exams will start on May 4 and end on June 10, which is just 35 days. Therefore, it is expected that the papers will not have many gaps like every time.

Schools are gearing up to start the practical exams of class 10 and 12 from March 1, 2021. The students are expected to be getting their admit card in the month of April. The admit card will bear the board roll number of the students and other important exam related instructions.
