Mathematics is one of the core subjects for CBSE Class 12 students. It is the perception of the students that Mathematics is one of the most difficult subjects. But somewhere it is not true. If the candidates would practice all the formulas and techniques to solve the questions then they can score better. So, for the convenience of the students, the CBSE Board has released the sample paper of Mathematics. Candidates can visit the official website cbse.nic.in o download the sample paper of Mathematics. On the homepage, the tab “Examination” is present. Under this section, the link for the Sample Paper for Mathematics is available. It is present in the pdf format.
In Mathematics question paper, there will be a total of 29 questions. All the questions are mandatory for the students. However, for the various questions, different options will be provided.
There will be four sections in the question paper i.e. Section A, Section B, Section C, and Section D. In Section A, the board will ask 4 questions. For one question, two optional questions will also be given. These questions will be of 0.5 marks each. These will be very short answer type questions. Each question of Section A contains 1 mark.
In Section B, the short answer type questions will be asked. It will have question number 5 to 12. So, in total, there will be 8 questions in this particular section. Each question contains 2 marks.
The third section is C. For this particular section, the board has decided to ask 11 questions. The number of questions will be highest in Section C. These will be long answer type questions. For each question, there will be 4 marks. So, from question number 13 to 23 will be asked in this section.
Section D is the last section in the entire question paper. It will have question number 24 to 29. In totality, there will be 6 questions. All will be long answer type questions. 6 marks will be allocated for each question.

According to the latest news, the CBSE Board will release the date sheet for the students of Class 10 and 12. CBSE Date Sheet 2019 is expected to be released in the month December 2018. The exams will be held in the month of February and March 2019 for the vocational subjects and the core subjects respectively.
