The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released class 12th date sheet for the major subjects. The released dates are for the upcoming Term 1 board examinations, which will begin from December 01, 2021. Major subjects include Sociology, English Core, Mathematics, Physical Education, Business Studies, Geography, Physics, Psychology, Accountancy, Chemistry, Economics, Hindi, Political Science, Biology, History, Information Practices, Computer Science and Home Science. CBSE has provided date sheet in a pdf format, at cbse.gov.in.

The first major exam for class 12 is Sociology that will be held on December 01, 2021. After that, English Core will be held on December 03, 2021 followed by Mathematics on December 06, 2021. The next exam is for Physical Education which will be held on December 07, 2021. The exam for Business Studies, Geography, Physics, and Psychology will be held on December 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 2021, respectively. Then, after a break of one day, the exam for Accountancy will be held on December 13, 2021. Following it, exam for Chemistry and Economics will be held on December 14 and 15, 2021, respectively.
Both Hindi Elective and Hindi Core exams will take place on December 16, 2021. The Political Science exam is scheduled for December 17, 2021 and Biology for December 18, 2021. History exam will take place on December 20, 2021 while Information Practices and Computer Science will be held on December 21, 2021. The major exams for CBSE class 12 will conclude with Home Science that will be held on December 22, 2021.
Examinations for the minor subjects of class 10 will also be held simultaneously with the major subjects of class 12. The duration of each major subject will be 90 minutes. The allotted reading time is 20 minutes and not 15 minutes as in the past. The Board has further decided to commence the class 12 major examinations from 11:30 AM rather than 10:30 AM, keeping in mind the winter season. Step 1- Visit the official website of CBSE – cbse.gov.in
Step 2- Click on the ‘Main Website’ tab
Step 3- Under the ‘Latest @ CBSE’ category, find the link that reads ‘Date Sheet for Major Subjects Main Examination Term-I (2021-22)’
Step 4- Click on the ‘XII’ link under the same heading
Step 5- The CBSE class 12 major exam date sheet will be displayed
Step 6- Download the same and note down the dates of the examination.
