The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is presently conducting the term 1 examinations for both classes 10 and 12. Examinations for the major subjects of class 12 have already commenced on December 01, 2021. As of now, the Biology (code 044) examination is scheduled for tomorrow, i.e. December 18, 2021. Students will be appearing for the exam for a duration of 90 minutes starting from 11:30 AM up to 01:00 PM. They will also get an extra 20 minutes as reading time to go through the question paper once.
Syllabus
Going through the prescribed syllabus for one last time is important because it helps students ensure that they did not miss out on anything. A total of 02 units will be required for the Term 1 examination. The first unit is on ‘Reproduction’ from which chapters 2, 3, and 4 are needed. The second unit is on Genetics and Evolution from which chapters 5 and 6 will be needed. This paper will be set for a total of 35 marks. Every question will have 01 mark since this is an MCQ-based test.

Sample Paper
Now, Students who are preparing for the upcoming Biology examination tomorrow must be informed that CBSE has already released the sample papers. Hence, examinees can easily download them from the CBSE academic website – cbseacademic.nic.in. Take a look at the steps given below.
Step 1- Go to the academic website of CBSE at cbseacademic.nic.in
Step 2- Now, hover over the ‘Sample Question Paper’ menu and select ‘SQP 2021-2022’
Step 3- Click on ‘Class XII’ and find the option for ‘Biology’
Step 4- After that, click on the ‘SQP’ button to download the sample question paper.
