The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the Class 10 results by today. It is to note that no official confirmation is available right now. However, as per some sources, it is very likely that the Board might release the results today without any prior announcement. But in case the Board makes any official announcement, it will be updated on the official website. Nevertheless, candidates are still advised to keep an eye on the official website cbseresults.nic.in to catch up with the latest updates.
Earlier, it was announced that CBSE might possibly release the Class 10 results between July 20 and July 25, 2021. However, no confirmation has been made regarding the same. Senior CBSE official Rama Sharma stated that once the date and time of the Class 10 results are decided, the notification will be uploaded on the official website. There are chances that the result declaration might get delayed because the process that has been adopted this year is very new to almost every school.
Examination controller Sanyam Bharadwaj earlier stated that the Board is trying its best to declare the Class 10 results by July 20. However, he couldn’t make any confirmation because most schools are taking time to send the internal assessment marks to the Board. Nonetheless, the results are sure to be declared by July. Yesterday, Bharadwaj confirmed that the data compilation process is underway and hence, the results will be declared only after the due process gets completed. This makes it very unlikely for the results to be declared by today.
Right after the results are declared, students can download the soft copies of the marksheet from the official website cbseresults.nic.in. However, it is expected that the website might crash anytime due to traffic. Alternatively, students can also download their results from DigiLocker and Umang apps. Websites like indiaresults.com and examresults.net will also remain open for the students to check their scores.
This year, CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams had to be withheld due to the pandemic. The results will be prepared based on the marks obtained in different tests and exams that were conducted during the year. As many as 18 lakh students are awaiting their CBSE Class 10 results this year. The only difference is that the results will be declared without holding any exam. Soon after the declaration of Class 10 and 12 results, CBSE will start the registration process of the optional exams for the students who are not satisfied with their scores.
