Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted Class 10th Science Paper on March 16, 2018. The students throughout the nation unanimous agreed that the examination was lengthy but was easy. There were 27 questions in the question paper and out of these 5 were based on practical skills. The entire CBSE Class 10th science question paper was divided into two parts. The second part was skill based.
#Easiest Section – CBSE prepared the question paper keeping in mind that class 10th Board exams will be held after 8 years. Candidates find Biology to be the easiest section. The questions were all straightforward and from the syllabus. Teachers information that surprisingly, fewer questions were asked about Heredity and Evolution and more were asked on how do organisms reproduce?
#Toughest Section – To everyone’s surprise, Chemistry gave a tough time to the students. Some of the short answer type questions in the section were tricky and demanded out of the box thinking.
#What about Physics – Students seemed satisfied with the Physics section as well. It was also easy and was application based. In all, there were 6 practical skill bases questions in the exam and these were of 2 marks each. The questions were taken from the list of experiments from CBSE syllabus.
#Avaerage Student Expected to Score More Than 60% – Teachers and experts are assuming that even an average student will be easily able to score above 60% marks in the examination.
The overall question paper was pretty easy and in comparison to practical section, the theory section was quite easy. The Board did not ask too many questions from the previous year. The internal choice was given two questions of three marks and one question of five marks.
Now that the students are satisfied with one of the most important subjects they can prepare for remaining examination with a stress free mind. Next exam is for Arabic/ Tibetan/ Nepali/ Healthcare services and will be held on March 19, 2018. The language paper is due to be held on March 20, whereas, the Social Science exam will be held on March 22, 2018. Another big examination, for Mathematics, will be conducted on March 28, 2018, and finally, the exams will end on April 04 with painting exam.
Across the country, 16,38,428 students registered for CBSE class 10th examination. The result for the appeared candidates will be declared in the month of June. CBSE will announce it online, on cbse.nic.in. The candidates will be able to check it by entering roll number and date of birth. So, do keep your admit card safe. We wish you all best of luck.
