Today, December 04, 2021, was a stressful day for most students as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) successfully conducted the Class 10 Maths Basic 2021-22 exam at selected schools across the country. Most students find mathematics tough and tricky to solve. However, to their delight, the paper was doable, and well-balanced, with questions from all three levels of difficulty i.e., easy, moderate, and difficult. Students had 90 minutes i.e., from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm to attempt and solve the entire paper.
Now that the paper is over, students are wondering about the CBSE Class 10 Maths 2021-22 answer key. Usually, due to the theoretical nature of the exam, students directly wait for the results to come out. However, as per the new paper pattern, the paper was entirely objective-based with a total of 40 multiple-choice questions. Hence, students are ardently waiting for the answer key to come out.
CBSE Class 10 Maths Basic Answer Key: Where to Find
There is no exact answer for this as the CBSE is yet to provide any date for answer key release. As of now, they have only disclosed the date sheet. So, students can expect the official answer keys to release in the next few days. Answers keys will release on the official website cbse.nic.in or cbseacademic.nic.in. But it will take some time.
In the meantime, students wishing to calculate their CBSE Class 10 Maths 2021-22 marks can make use of unofficial answer keys available online. Such answer keys will release shortly online, on various educational portals. They can also search YouTube for video solutions and answer keys pertaining to today’s exam. An advantage of using the latter is that students will get the answer keys as well as understand the reason behind each answer.

Students can make use of answer keys uploaded by all three channels to calculate their CBSE Class 10 Term I 2021-22 marks. Usually, these channels stream their videos live, solve the questions and provide the answers. Hence, students are advised to take a piece of paper and note down the answers simultaneously while watching the video.
After acquiring answers to all questions, students must tally them with their answers and calculate the total marks. The simple marking scheme is as follows –
Marks Scored = (No. of Correct Answers) x 1
Students are advised to cross-check the paper solution with the answers they marked in the examination so as to draw out a conclusion on their respective performances.
