The Term1 examination of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 has already started and the computer application exam was conducted today from 11:30 am to 01:00 pm. The ongoing First term examination is based on the objective type format and the question paper was based on 50 % of the total syllabus.
The sample papers provided by CBSE on its website turned out to be very helpful for students. The question paper consisted of three sections and the maximum marks allotted were 25. A total of 50 questions were asked out of which 40 were to be attempted.
Section A consisted of 20 questions out of which 16 were to be attempted and section B also followed the same pattern, while for section C the number of questions was 10 and 8 were to be attempted. Equal weightage was given to each topic.
Questions were asked from the bifurcated syllabus as provided by CBSE and the syllabus for the first term consisted of two units: Cyber Ethics and HTML.
The exam was based on the 50% syllabus provided by CBSE. According to the exam pattern and assessment plan, the theory exam is of 25 marks and 25 marks will be for practicals and the same will be followed for the term 2 exams. For the final result both Term 1 and Term 2 marks will be considered.

The exam was divided into 3 sections. Students had a choice of attempting questions wherein they had to attempt 16 questions out of 20 in section A, B and 8 questions out of 10 in section C. Students are advised to visit at least 2 – 3 of them before arriving at a final conclusion regarding their performance in the exam.
