CBSE Class 10 and 12 Exams Going To Conclude Early in 2019

On December 23 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the class 10 and 12 date sheet 2019. According to it, CBSE class 10 exams are going to conduct from February 21 to March 29. While on the other hand, class 12 exams are going to conduct from March 15 to 03 Apr. After a lot of discussion over the release date of the date sheet. Finally, students of class 10th and 12th from CBSE board take a breath of relief and received the entire date sheet. Officially, the board has released the date sheet of both classes on its website- cbse.nic.in.

In the month of September, CBSE has released a prior notice for the early commencement of the examinations for an academic session 2018-19. For the year 2019 CBSE has decided to conduct the exams a bit earlier than before. Therefore keeping in mind the preparation time for the students CBSE has released the date sheet in the month of December. As per the last year record, CBSE releases the date sheet in the month of January. But for the year 2019 CBSE has come up with the date sheet earlier. Before this CBSE has announced the dates of the practical exams which is going to be commenced from January 16.

Now, the question comes to the mind that why CBSE is going to conclude the class 10 and 12 examinations so early this year? So, here are some of the reasons. Firstly, High Court has ordered CBSE to plan the examinations keeping in mind the DU cut off dates for further admission process. Secondly, Lok Elections are also on its way. So, board exams will not clash with the elections as well as the admission process in the various universities CBSE has come up with these changes than usual.

But at the same time students seem not happy with the decision of CBSE. After the announcement of the entire date sheet students of class 10th and 12th are asking for the rescheduling of their date sheet. Students have sent their reviews to us.

“Sir please think about PMB, because two days gap are not enough for the revision mostly in Biology and maths“

“Plz kindly shift Hindi exam and manage it on another date….. We will face a problem if Hindi exam comes between Physics and Chemistry. Plz change it.”

“There is no holiday in political science exam for students having mathematics! Please look after it!“

“We haven’t got a proper gap for physics only 2 days gap and in physical 14 days gap for such a tough subject like physics we need more than 2 days for revision.”

These are some of the mixed reactions of the students we have received from the students for their date sheet. Apart from the negative views, there are also some students who have satisfied with their schedule. As according to some of the students will also get more time for JEE Main preparation.

So, will CBSE reschedule its date sheet or not? This will be cleared after any official confirmation. Thus, it is advised to the students that you have still 1 and the half month to prepare. Start preparing with the subjects in which you have received less gap.
