Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the application form for class 10th rechecking / verification of marks . The students can fill the application form online at cbse.nic.in. The last date to apply for the revaluation / verification of marks is July 24, 2020 (till 5.00 PM).
The option for the rechecking or the verification of marks is basically for those students who are not satisfied with the marks awarded to them in CBSE 10th result 2020. If in case, there is a change in marks after revaluation / rechecking proceeds is complete, the same is reflected on the student’s mark sheet as well.
To apply for the rechecking or verification of marks, the students have to register by entering their roll number, 5 digit school number, center number. Then, the students have to click on the ‘proceed’ button to proceed to the next step. After this, students will need to select the subject for which they wish to apply. Candidates can select as much subject as they want. Lastly, pay the required amount of revaluation / re-verification fee using credit card / debit card or net banking.

To apply for Class 10th revaluation, students will need to pay an amount of Rs. 100 per subject, whereas for Re-verification and obtaining the photocopy of the answer book, an amount of Rs. 500 per subjects is to be paid.
The result for the revaluation and verification of marks is released on the official website of CBSE. Also, a letter will be also sent to the applicant via email / speed post will be sent to the students by CBSE who have a change in their marks.
As for the compartment exam, the board has announced that the exams shall be conducted as per the rules. However, the dates for CBSE 10th compartment exam will be announced after consultation with Govt. of India.
CBSE announced 10th class results on July 15, 2020. The overall pass percentage for this year is 91.46%. The girls outperformed boys this year with a total pass percentage of 93.31%. The pass percentage of the boys stood at 90.14%. The pass percentage of transgender students is 78.95%. Trivandrum bagged the first position district-wise with a total pass percentage of 99.28%. The second position was bagged by Chennai with a pass percentage of 98.95%. The third position was bagged by Bengaluru with 98.23%.
