Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore will release the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2020 admit card tomorrow, on October 28, 2020. The admit card will be available on the official website, iimcat.ac.in, under the respective logins of the candidates. This year, the exam is scheduled to be conducted on November 29, 2020, in three sessions – morning, afternoon, and evening.
To download CAT admit card, registered candidates will need their email ID and password to login. After login, candidates can check the ‘Download Admit Card’ link in their dashboard. After clicking on this option, candidates can access their admit card, check the mentioned details and print a copy to carry on the exam date.
The 5 things to know about CAT 2020 admit card are:
#1. The CAT 2020 admit card contains certain details that candidates must fill well in advance before the examination. Candidates have to paste their passport-size photograph in the space provided in the hall ticket of CAT 2020. A place for the candidate’s signature is also present in the admit card. However, this space must only be filled at the time of examination, in front of the invigilator.
#2. CAT 2020 reference id will be mentioned in the admit card. It is the id with the help of which, candidates can allocate their exam room and system at the center.
#3. Candidate’s center address will be mentioned on the admit card of CAT 2020. However, along with it, google map link will also be given in you CAT 2020 admit card. Candidates can access it online, before printing the hall ticket. All candidates need to do is open admit card in the system, click on the google map link and it will show where the center is, what are the route, etc.
#4. Candidates are required to carry a hardcopy of their admit card at the time of examination. Soft copy of hall ticket shall not be accepted. Besides this, candidates have to carry a valid ID proof like Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, etc. Moreover, PwD candidates are also asked to bring their scribe affidavit which is to be shown to the authorities.
#5. Candidates are prohibited from carrying any textual / study material, papers or chits, stationery like geometry box, calculate, pen, log tables, etc. Any electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, digital watches, earphones, microphones as well as wallets, goggles, handbags, etc are not allowed within the test premises. Writing Pad and Pen shall be available to the candidates at the exam hall for rough work. Candidates have to return it after the exam.
Common Admission Test (CAT) is the biggest MBA / PGDM entrance exam in India. It is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) but the score of CAT is accepted by more than 500 B-Schools, including IITs and IISc.
