IIM Indore has released the admit card of CAT 2020 on October 28, 2020. The admit card will now remain available until the exam day, which is November 29, 2020. Candidates are required to login at iimcat.ac.in using their user ID and password to access and download the CAT admit card.
This time, CAT 2020 admit card is a 2 page PDF file. The first page is the admit card and the second age is the important instructions self-declaration form for COVID-19. Candidates have to print and fill the self-declaration form. The self-declaration form is to be carried at the exam hall with the admit card.
The candidates who have already downloaded their CAT admit card must check all the details on it. The errors, if any, in the details of the admit card must be reported to the CAT authorities via the CAT help desk. The errors in the admit card means any mismatch of information on the hall ticket from the details provided in the application form.
In case of errors in the admit card, candidates have to contact the CAT helpdesk at toll-free number 18002090830 or via email at [email protected] The helpdesk remains active from Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, excluding the national holidays.
Any error must be notified to the CAT authorities before the exam.
In cases, where a candidate has done multiple registrations, the admit card is issued only for the last successful registration done by the candidates. For all rest of the registration blank admit card is issued. Thus after logging in, if the candidates see a blank admit card, then they must log out and login with the last registration user ID and password to download the correct CAT admit card.
The other possible common errors in the CAT 2020 admit card can be spelling errors, wrong name printed on the admit card, blurred photo and signature, wrong date of birth, etc.
Via the CAT admit card candidates will be allotted 1 exam slot out of the 3 slots and exam venue. Since the exam is being held amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing must be followed. At the exam hall do not wear Jewellery or any metal item. Candidates have to also remove jackets and shoes before entering the exam room.
The candidates will be allowed to take with them mask, gloves, personal hand sanitisers (50 ml), transparent water bottles, and 2 simple pens inside the exam hall. The temperature of the candidates will be checked using Thermo Gun at the exam hall. Candidates showing symptoms will be isolated and will with all safety measures.
Common Admission Test (CAT) is the biggest MBA / PGDM entrance exam in India. It is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) but the score of CAT is accepted by more than 500 B-Schools, including IITs and IISc. Every year, more than 2 lakh candidates apply for the exam.
