CAT 2018 Registration will wrap up today by IIM-Calcutta. The registration process will over after 50 days application window on September 26, 2018, at 5:00 PM. Candidates who have not applied yet or still have to submit the form must do it before the window closes.
Since few hours left, fill the form and upload all the images correctly. It is required that candidates upload the image in the proper format only. Most importantly, enter all the details correctly like name, communication address, category without any mistakes. As after the submission, you will not able to edit the data in the application form. Though applicants can avail the photograph correction window that will open tomorrow.
The window to edit the photograph will available from September 26, 2018 (10:00 AM) to September 30, 2018, until 5:00 PM. Only candidates who have submitted the form and paid the registration fee before the last date will able to edit the form. Thus, after filling the form, check it once again. In case the image is not clear then re-upload according to the specified format.
For now, it is not clear if the application correction window open or not. Aglasem contacted CAT authorities, they denied providing any information regarding the opening of edit form. According to the phone call “We cannot provide any information, whether the application correction window opens. If it is available we will update on the official website“.
The admit card for CAT 2018 will release on October 24, 2018, at iimcat.ac.in. Candidates will need the registration number and password to download the same. On the admit card, test-takers will have to paste the recent passport size photograph as uploaded in the registration form. On the exam day, it is necessary to carry the hall ticket and identity proof. All students have to follow the exam instructions as specified on the admit card.
The exam will take place in 147 cities on November 25, 2018, in two sessions. Lakhs of students appear for the CAT examination. It is considered to be a gateway for admission in top b-schools of India. 20 IIMs and more than 100 management schools accept the CAT 2018 Score.
So, to take part in the selections process of IIMs, aspirants have to fill the CAT form. In order to apply for other b-schools, aspirants have to fill the form of CAT as well as application form of colleges separately.
