Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) result dates are confirmed. The board will release class 10th result on June 07 and class 12th on June 06, 2018. The result will appear on the official website i.e. biharboard.ac.in. After many speculations, the date has been confirmed. So now the students can take a sigh of relief. Their long wait is also over now.
In order to access the Class 10th and 12th result students have to visit the official website biharboard.ac.in. Click on the link that displays the result on the homepage. Enter your credentials like roll number, name etc to see your result. The result will display on the computer screen. Take its printout for future reference.
Students can also collect the result by SMS service provided by the board. For class 10th result type BSEB10 (space) Roll Number and further send it to 5623. While for class 12th result type BSEB12S/A/C (space) Roll number and send it to 5623.
BSEB conducted class 10th examinations from February 21 to February 28, 2018. Whereas class 12th examinations held from February 06 and concluded on February 16, 2018. Nearly 12,07,986 students registered for the class 12th examination. Board conducted examinations in 1,384 centers across the state. Although 17,70,420 students sat for class 10th examinations in the state.
There is a good news for the students as board increased the grace marks from 8% to 10%. So, the students who will be unsuccessful in getting the passing marks will have a hope of being in the passing criteria.
Previous year i.e. in 2017 total of 12.40 lakh students appeared in class 12th examination, out of which only 4.37 lakh students managed to pass. State recorded only 35.25 pass percentage. While in class 10th examination around 15 lakh students sat and recorded around 50.12 pass percentage. This pass percentage is lower than other Indian states.
Bihar Board is responsible for conducting examinations at the state level. It came into existence in 1952. It is headquartered in Patna. The board conducts secondary and senior secondary examinations twice a year. It conducts the annual examination in February- March and supplementary examination in July-August. It ensures the better education system in the state.
