Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, the Education Minister of India, will host a webinar again, however, this time for the teachers. The webinar will be live on December 17, 2020, at 4 PM and will address the teachers for their concerns about the upcoming CBSE and other board exams and seek their suggestions on it as well. Hence, teachers across the country can ask their queries or share their concerns on Twitter and Facebook.
One teacher on the Minister Twitter handle commented that “Dear Sir, Teachers, students and parents would like complete clarity on the following issues: Practicals/ Projects – please cancel these as it is very difficult for schools to prepare students for these. Secondly, for the theory examination, please stick to the old question paper pattern as the new pattern has many assertive & value-based questions. Students will be unable to tackle such questions as they have been attending only online classes.”
Hence, now, with the webinar exclusively for the teachers, it is expected that concerns of the teachers like online classes, uncertainties regarding board exam 2021 dates will be addressed.

In the earlier held webinar, students from all over India shared their concerns with the Ministry of Education. Some of the common demands of the students were – Postpone the CBSE board exam 2021 to May, Announce the exam dates as soon as possible and Reopen schools for some time so that they can get their doubts cleared and practice for the practical exams.

In the webinar held on December 10, many students asked the Minister for the dates for CBSE board exams and how practical examination is conducted. He notified students no exam date has been decided yet and as soon as it is finalized, the same will be notified to the students through the board’s official website – cbse.nic.in.
Another major query of the students was about the practical exams. Since the schools have been closed since March due to the COVID-19 situation, students have not able to enter the practical labs, hence, the authorities should consider canceling practical exams. However, to this MHRD Minister commented that since the practical exams are held in the schools itself, it will be ensured that all students have access to practical labs or else different alternatives will be looked for.
For some time now, there have been many media reports going on about the CBSE board exam date 2021. Earlier, there some reports as p[er which a CBSE top official commented that the board exams will be held as per usual i.e in the month of February-March. This created a lot of worry amongst the students. However, soon CBSE releases a public notice and confirmed to the students that no exam date / month has been decided yet and students should not believe reports as circulating on social media or media.
