Bihar Board has increased the number of questtions for 2019 exams

On November 16, 2018, Bihar Board has released the 2019 exam date both for class 10th and 12th. So, wait of lakhs of students has come to an end. Examinations for session 2019 are going to start from the month of February. But at the same time, the board has also introduced some changes in the pattern of an upcoming question paper both for class 10th and  12th. Students from Bihar board who are going to appear for 2019 session must have a knowledge regarding the change in the pattern of a question paper.

Bihar board 10th and 12th question paper consist of a long type as well as short type questions. Previously, there were total 4 long type questions and each question had a different option. But for the year 2019, there will be total 8 long type questions. Out of which students need to answer only 4 questions as per their choice. Board chairman has said that from now onwards there will be no internal options. There will be a complete option among the questions in the paper. This will also result in the increment of the number of questions in the paper.

Furthermore, the number of short type questions will also increase. Till 2018, subjects of 100 marks had total 15 short type questions while subjects with 70 marks had total 22 questions. Now, this number will be increased to 26 question for 100 marks paper. Out of which a student need to attempt only 15 questions. On the other hand, 22 questions will be for 70 marks question paper. Out of which only 10 questions need to answer as per your choice.

Bihar Board class 10th examinations are going to start from February 21 and will end on February 28. Where class 12th examinations are going to start from February 06 and will end on February 16. In the year 2018, the Bihar board has also conducted the exams on the same dates. However, there is a change in the exam time. By analyzing the date sheet we can say that the schedule of the examination is very compact. Students do get time for proper revision.

As the board has followed the last year dates for the main examinations. So, we can expect the same for the dates of practical exams. Bihar board 10th and 12th practical exams may commence from the second week of January expectedly.

Every year lakhs of students have registered themselves under the Bihar board. Through reports, this came to know that around 25 lakh students have registered for 2019 examinations. Bihar board will also take care of the unpleasant activities like cheating, leaking of question papers etc during the examinations.

All The Best for your Exams!
