Bihar Secondary Education Board (BSEB), Patna is going to announce the Bihar Board class 10 results on or before April 07, 2021, as per sources. Students can check their Class 10 board exam results on the official website biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. they can also check their results on the website bsebbihar.com. The Bihar Board officials evaluated the Class 10 or matric answer sheets from March 12 to 24, 2021. Previously, the evaluation period for the same was scheduled to begin from March 05, 2021, but ended up getting postponed.
BSEB is expected to announce the Class 10 board examination results by April 07, 2021, reports suggest. As observed in the last few years, BSEB usually declares the matric results within 10 days of completing the evaluation process. According to sources, the verification of toppers shall be done from April 01, 2021 and results shall be declared soon after.
Anand Kishor, Chairman of BSEB, confirmed the reports stating that they shall be announcing the Class 10 results soon, most likely in the first week of April 2021. His statement comes almost a week after BSEB announced the intermediate results. 78.04 per cent students had passed the intermediate examination.
According to last year, students need to score a minimum of 30 per cent marks to pass the matric examination. In simple terms, this means that at least 30 marks out of 100 and an aggregate total of 150 marks is needed to pass the Class 10 board examination. The same eligibility criteria is expected to apply this year.
Candidates who appeared for the Bihar Class 10 board examination can check their results on the websites biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in or bsebbihar.com. On the websites, they must click on the Bihar board matric 2021 result link. They are supposed to enter important credentials like roll number, roll code and date of birth. After submitting these details, candidates can view their results. Apart from official websites, candidates may also check their results using private hosting websites like indiaresults.com and examresults.net.
This year, more than 16 lakh students had appeared for the matric examination in the state. A total of 837803 girls and 846663 boys gave the examination. According to reports, the exam was conducted across 1525 exam centres located in 38 districts within the state of Bihar.
Much to the BSEB’s dismay, the Bihar Board class 10 Social Science paper was leaked on February 19, 2021. Following this, officials conducted a re-examination for the subject on March 08, 2021. Officials recently released the Class 10 answer key for objective-type questions on the official website biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. Results are scheduled to be declared soon.
BSEB recently announced the results for the class 12 Science, Arts and Commerce or intermediate examinations on March 26, 2021. According to officials, 78.04 percent students had passed the examination with girls outperforming the boys. A whopping 80.57 percent girls passed whereas the passing percentage of boys is 75.71 percent. However, the overall passaging percentage this year dropped in comparison to last year.
