Bharat Electronics Limited(BEL) has announced 15 vacant positions for the Trainee Engineer, Project Engineer and Trainee Officer. The candidates can apply for the following post from 21 April 2021 to 05 May 2021 from the official website of BEL i.e bel-india.in. Post successful selection, the candidates will be posted at Kotdwara, Delhi and Aizawal locations etc. The candidates thus selected as Project Engineer will get an appointment for a period of two years that can be extended to 4 years. In the same way, the candidates will get a remuneration of 35,000 for the first year, Rs.40,000 for the second year, Rs. 45,000 and Rs. 50,000 for the third and fourth year respectively.
The candidates selected for the post of Trainee Engineer or Trainee Officer are appointed for a period of 1 year initially. The service tenure can be extended upto 3 years, depending on the requirement. Selected candidates are eligible to receive compensation of 25,000, Rs. 28,000 and Rs. 31,000, in the first, second and third year of the contract.
As per the official notification, the age of the candidates applying for the post of Trainee Engineer and Trainee Officer must not be more than 25 years of age. While for the candidates applying for the post of Project Engineer, the age should be 28 years. The reserved quota candidates who belong to SC/ST quota will get an age relaxation of 5 years while the OBC candidate will get 3 years of age relaxation.
The candidates willing to apply for the post of Project Engineer must have completed B.Tech and B.Sc in Electronics, Mechanical or Computer Science from a recognised University. While the candidates applying for the post of Trainee Engineer should have completed 4 years full-time B.E./B.Tech/ B.Sc in Computer Science, Electronics or Mechanical. In the same way, the candidates applying for the post of Trainee Officer must have completed MBA in Finance on a regular course from a reputed University.

The application fee for the post of Trainee Engineer/Officer is Rs 200 while for the project engineer the application fee is Rs 500. The candidates who belong to the reserved quota will be exempted from paying the fee.
The selection of the candidates applying for any of the posts released by BEL will be based on the qualification as well as experience of the candidate. The company has given 75% weightage to aggregate marks scored by the candidate in his Bachelor course. 10% marks have been allotted to post qualification experience i.e. 2.5 marks are allotted to minimum experience while 1.25 marks will be provided to each additional experience of 6 months gained by the candidate. In the end, 15% marks are allotted to the Interview round conducted for successful candidates.
