BARC is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill up 63 vacancies for Medical/Scientific Officer, Nurse & other posts. Candidates holding an MS/MD (Nuclear Medicine) with 4 years of experience can apply for the posts of Medical/Scientific Officer. One must have an M.Sc. with 60% marks along with DMRIT/DNMT/DFIT with 50% and 4 years of experience can apply for the post of Technical Officer. Similarly, 12th pass candidates who have a Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery (3 years) and are registered with the Central/State Nursing Council can apply for the post of Nurse. Candidates having a Diploma in Electronics & Communication/Electronics, B.Sc. (Physics/Chemistry), Class 12th (PCMB) with 60% marks are eligible to apply for the posts of Stipendiary Trainee.
The minimum age of the applicants must be 18 years. In addition, the upper age limit is also specified separately for different posts. Selected candidates are paid a starting salary in the range of Rs 21700 to Rs 78800 for direct recruitment posts. On the other hand, for Stipendiary Trainee posts, candidates are entitled to receive a starting salary in the range of Rs 10500 to Rs 16000 during the first year and in the range of Rs 12500 to Rs 18000 during the second year, depending on the post.
Candidates are advised to check the notification carefully for the complete details eligibility criteria for individual posts.
