The Axom Sarba Shiksha Abhiyan Mission (SSA) has released the application form for Assam TET 2021. Aspiring teachers of the states, fulfilling the eligibility criteria can now apply online at ssa.assam.gov.in. However, the official website of SSA is intermittently crashing and hence applicants might face some issues logging in to the portal.
The Teacher’s Eligibility Test (TET) is a state level exam conducted by SSA Assam. Residents of Assam are invited to fill the online application form for paper 1 (lower primary), and paper 2 (upper primary) to become eligible to teach classes 1-5, and classes 6-8 respectively.
For Assam TET 2021, the SSA has released the online application form directly, and not uploaded any notice for the exam. Hence eligibility criteria and other aspects of the form are assumed to be as per last time.
How to apply for Assam TET 2021? Steps Explained
The candidates can apply for the Assam TET 2021 exam by following the steps mentioned below:
- Go to ssa.assam.gov.in.
- Click ‘Teachers Eligibility Test’.
- On the next page, click ‘Click here to apply Online’. This leads to the external site cetcell.net/TET_2021/?r.
- Click ‘Registration’.
- The instructions page opens; read all the instructions on first page. Then click ‘Next’.
- Now online application form opens. Here, enter all details asked in the form, and upload documents as asked.
- Then pay the application fee and submit the form.
Candidates need to upload photograph and signature in the form. It may be noted that photo is not Identifiable then SSA may reject the application form. The size of photograph must be less than 35 kb. Dimensions are also specified – Height of photograph must be between 250 pixel and 320 pixel, and width of photograph must be between 150 pixel and 220 pixel.
In the same way, signature should also be identifiable. The size of signature needs to be less than 30 kb. Height and width of the signature must respectively be between 100 pixel and 180 pixel, and between 150 pixel and 220 pixel.
Note that the application form is common for LP, and UP. One can chose to apply for one or both, as per their interests and eligibility criteria.
SSA has also released syllabus for the LP, UP exams.
LP that is paper 1 syllabus covers CDP, language 1, language 2, mathematics, and environmental sciences. The lp paper 1 will have 30 questions each on these topics. Likewise UP that is paper 2 syllabus covers child development pedagogy, language 1, language 2, mathematics, social studies. The paper will have 30 questions of CDP, 30 of language 1, 30 of language 2; then there will be 60 questions from maths and science or social studies. Maths and science teacher have to attempt those questions, and social studies have to attempt of those.
