Elementary Education Department, Government of Assam, successfully conducted the Assam TET 2021 examination today, October 31, 2021. The Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2021 exam was held from 8:30 pm to 11:00 pm and from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Paper I was held for those interested in teaching Class 1-5 while Paper II was meant for candidates who wish to teach Class 6-8. Assam TET 2021 Answer Key Released
Immediately, after the conduction of Assam TET 2021 exam, several online portals and education websites released their memory-based answer keys. Answer keys have also been released in the video format on YouTube as well. But since they are unofficial, candidates can use them to calculate their tentative score. This score will differ from the actual one which will be calculated using the official answer key. Released date for official answer key is yet to be announced.

Candidates ought to know that the official answer key will be released on Assam TET’s portal ssa.assam.gov.in. If at all discrepancies are found, candidates will be given an opportunity to raise objections with proper reasoning and proof. Valid objections will be incorporated to release the final answer key later on. Last time, authorities had directly released the final answer key. However, candidates found several mistakes in the answer key and hence, with the help of subject-matter experts, the key was revised. A similar process may take place this time as well.
Assam TET 2021 Paper I and II Analysis
Paper I – The question paper covered questions from subjects like Child Development & Psychology, Language 1 & 2, Mathematics and Environmental Studies.

Assam TET 2021 Expected Result Date
The previous Assam TET examination was held on January 10, 2021, across the state. Results for the same were announced more than 4 months later, on May 22, 2021. Results were published on ssa.assam.gov.in as well as sebaonline.org.Taking this timeline into consideration, the Assam TET 2021 results will release in February 2022.
The COVID-19 pandemic created a delay in the Assam TET 2021 schedule. Keeping this delay in mind, authorities are likely to announce the results in the last week of November or first week of December 2021 instead of 4 months late. Results may be published on the same two websites as last year.
Assam TET 2021 Cut-offs for All Categories
To qualify the Assam TET 2021 examination, candidates must score the minimum marks corresponding to their category. Following are the cut-off marks and percentage for each category –
