The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Assam has announced the Assam Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2019 Result. Candidates can check the result for Assam PAT 2019 online from the official website, dteassamexam.in. DTE Assam declared the result on May 29, 2019, at around 03:00 PM.
To check the Assam PAT 2019 Result, candidates firstly need to visit the official website. On the homepage of the website, click on the link which says “PAT 2019 Result”. In the next screen, candidates need to log in by entering their PAT 2019 roll number as mentioned on their hall ticket. Submit the roll number and in the next screen, candidates can check their result.
The result for Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2019 consists of details such as the name of the candidate, roll number, date of birth, category, gender, subject-wise marks, total marks, qualifying status, merit rank.
Now that the result has been announced, the exam conducting body will release the schedule of Merit-based Counseling and Admission for PAT 2019 later on through leading Local Daily Newspapers & at its official website as well at http://www.dte.assam.gov.in.
In the case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks in PAT 2019, their tie is resolved by applying the rules as suggested by the exam conducting body. Firstly, the marks of Science and Mathematics of the qualifying examination will be taken into consideration to decide the merit of the candidates. if there is still a tie, then the aggregate marks of the qualifying examination will be taken into consideration to decide the merit of the candidate. If the tie is still not resolved, then the merit of the candidate will be decided by lottery by the Chairperson of the Selection Committee.
Qualifiers in the PAT 2019 entrance exam will be then eligible to appear for Interview round/ counselling. The allocation of the seats to various institutes of Polytechnic in Assam is determined on the basis of the Admission test at the time of the interview. At the time of counseling, shortlisted candidates will have to carry along the necessary documents.
Assam Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2019 was conducted on May 19, 2019 in offline mode. There are a total 3525 number of seats for admission in different polytechnic institutes in Assam and 90 seats in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Sivasagar which accepts PAT 2019 score.
