Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board has issued the official notification of ASRB NET 2021. Also known as the ICAR NET, the yearly examination is conducted at the national level once every year. ASRB NET 2021 is scheduled to be held from June 21 to 27, 2021 as a Computer Based Test. As per the official notification, the examination is scheduled to be held across 32 exam centres in India in a staggered slot-wise manner.
ASRB 2021 online registration window is scheduled to open on April 05, 2021. Candidates will be able to start registering from 10.00 AM on the starting date. The last date for submission of online application form and online application fee payment is April 25, 2021 till 05.00 PM in the evening.
Once the online application process commences for the ASRB NET 2021 or ICAR NET 2021 exam, eligible candidates will be able to register and apply online at the official website by paying an application fee. The fee amount is specified by the ASRB in the combined notification released for the ICAR NET, ARS NET and STO examinations in 2021. For the upcoming ASRB NET exam, the application fee amount for candidates belonging to Unreserved category is Rs 1000. EWS/OBC category candidates have to pay half the amount i.e. Rs 500 as application fee. Whereas, the ASRB NET 2021 application fee for SC/ST, PwBD and Female candidates is Rs 250. Candidates may note that the application fee can only be paid online using Debit/Credit card, Internet Banking or UPI.
The complete procedure of application is conducted online at the website asrb.org.in. The first step is registration. Unregistered candidates have to fill up the registration form online by entering the requisite details such as name, mobile number, email ID etc. correctly. Once registered, candidates will be issued a Registration Number which must be noted down for future reference.
After successful registration, candidates are required to log in to the website using the Registration Number & Date of Birth to access the online application form. ASRB 2021 Application Form must be filled up and submitted as per instructions along with attachment of specified documents on or before the last date.
Once candidates are logged in, they must fill up the application form by entering the correct details in all the mandatory fields. It may be noted that candidates are not required to attach/send any document justifying their eligibility at the time of online applications. However, the ASRB has specified that scanned images of a recent passport-sized photograph of the candidate and scanned image of candidate’s signature must be uploaded.
As per the official notification, the format of the image files must be JPG. Furthermore,. the file size must be within the limit of 150 KB. Candidates are advised to read the official combined notification carefully before proceeding to apply online for ASRB NET 2021. The exam is conducted for determining the eligibility of otherwise qualified candidates to apply for recruitment as a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Agricultural Universities and other Universities.
