Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has announced the recruitment drive for the vacant posts of Vice-Chancellor. An official notification has also been published with title “VC Post Notification- October 2020” on the official website, apsche.org. Applications for the said posts are invited before the last date which is October 30, 2020, by 05:00 PM.
The post of Vice-Chancellor is available only under the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Ananthapur and Dr B.R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam university. The selection of this post is mainly based on the release of the public notification and talent search. For more information, we suggest reading the detailed notification available on the website.
Moreover, only eligible candidates are invited for the post of Vice-Chancellor. Aspirants who have a minimum of 10 years of work experience as a Professor as prescribed UGC regulations. Those who are in an equivalent position in a reputed research and/ or academic administrative organization can also apply for Vice-Chancellor post. Provided they have to submit proof of having demonstrated academic. Most importantly, applicants with the highest integrity, competence, morals and institutional commitment are preferred.
To submit applications, first visit the official website of APSCHE, apsche.org. The application with bio-data should be sent through registered post to The Chairman, A.P. State Council of Higher Education, 3rd, 4th and 5th floors, Neeladri Towers, Sri Ram Nagar, 6th Battalion Road, Atmakur(V), Mangalagiri(M), Guntur 522 503, Andhra Pradesh. Along with the application form attach bio-data in prescribed format and relevant documents in support of eligibility.
The application form should be submitted in spiral-bound form. First, candidates have to attach perspective plan, followed by summary sheet, bio-data, copies of the appointment order as Professor, List of the research publication or related, any other information relevant to the application. Applicants also have to sign on all the pages of the application form.
Candidates have to submit separate applications (complete in all aspects) to each university. Each application should be accompanied by an application fee of Rs. 1000/-. Aspirants can submit their applications fee through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Secretary, APSCHE, Guntur.
In addition, the applicant also has to submit filled in excel sheet in the proforma prescribed and sent to the email – [email protected]. The file should be the name of the applicant applying and the name of the university applying for (For Example – <name><university>). Visit the official website of APSCHE to get the mail format for Excel sheet. The file should only be sent in Excel sheet and not in pdf, jpg, jpeg or any other format.
