Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has today, December 30, 2021, invited applications for a recruitment drive aiming to fill a total of 730 vacancies. These vacancies are pertaining to the post of Junior Assistant cum Computer Assistant at the AP Revenue Department (Group IV). Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the recruitment drive on the official website psc.ap.gov.in. They are instructed to complete the online application formalities latest by January 18, 2022, up to 11:59 pm.
To apply for the APPSC Group 4 Recruitment Drive, candidates need to fulfill certain eligibility criteria. In the case of educational qualifications, the following are the criteria to fulfill –
- A bachelor’s degree in any field
- Passing the Computer Proficiency Test conducted by the District Collector (only for shortlisted candidates before final appointment)
Several other eligibility criteria pertaining to health and fitness, academics, and citizenship have also been specified in the APPSC Group 4 recruitment notification.
In terms of age-related eligibility criteria, candidate between the ages of 18 and 42 is eligible to apply for the AAPSC Group 4 recruitment drive. However, certain relaxations have been provided to the reserved categories. For example, candidates belonging to SC ST and EWS category have a permissible age relaxation of 5 years whereas physically handicapped candidates have a relaxation of 10 years.
How to Apply
To apply for APPSC Group 4 Recruitment Drive, candidates need to follow the steps given below –
Step 1: Visit the official website of AAPSC i.e., psc.ap.gov.in.
Step 2: In the case of first-time applicant, fill up the OTPR application to generate the OTPR ID.
Step 3: After successful registration, enter the login credentials such as OTPR ID/Username and password to log in to the website.
Step 4: Click on the payment link and pay the required application fee. On successful processing of fee amount, a payment reference ID will be generated. This number needs to be noted down for future reference or use.
Step 5: Fill the application form with personal details, qualification and academic details, examination center, etc. Submit the form after verifying and cross-checking the details filled in the form.
In case the payment has not been processed, a candidate will have to pay the specified amount again. The payment reference ID will act as proof that payment from the candidate’s end has been made and processed. If this ID is not generated, a candidate will have to repeat the payment process.
Another important thing to note is that after successful submission of the application form, a correct facility will open. Using this facility a candidate can make corrections in the already-submitted form. However, this facility will not be applicable to fields such as name, age relaxations, and fee.
