APPSC Agriculture Officer Result 2019 announced; Certificate verification on 6 and 7 Nov

2,832 candidates had applied for the exam. Only 45 have been shortlisted for CV.

APPSC Agriculture Officer Result 2019

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has announced the Agriculture Officer results 2019. On the basis of written examination, a total of 45 candidates have been shortlisted for certificate verification that has been scheduled for November 6, 2019, and November 7, 2019. 

As a part of the results declaration, APPSC has published seven things – results notification, check list, web note, candidate memo, interview schedule, attestation form, candidates marks list.

To check the result, candidates can go to psc.ap.gov.in, and click the click here link against the message “Results Notification for Agriculture Officer in A.P Agriculture Service- Notification No.21/2018”. On the next page, the seven documents mentioned above, their links, are provided. 

The register numbers of candidates qualified for certificate verification are given in the result note. APPSC has shortlisted candidates in the ratio 1:2. These candidates need to present their documents pertaining to  age (ssc), proof of age relaxation, educational qualification, study certificates, migration certificates for candidates who migrated from telangana to andhra pradesh, caste certificate, non-creamy layer certificate and other relevant documents during verification.

Shortlisted candidates also need to download call letter, two checklists, and two attestation forms.

The document “Candidates Marks list” contains hall ticket number wise marks of all candidates. It has hall ticket number, community name, paper 1 score, paper 2 score, paper 1 after scaling score, paper 2 after scaling score, and total score. This list contains details of 2,832 candidates.

Interview schedule shows the date and time of schedule verification for all candidates. On both the dates, that are the first Wednesday and Thursday in the month of November, verification starts at 10.30 for one batch, and 2.30 for others. The venue is Commission’s Office, New HOD Buildings, 2nd floor, Opposite Indira Gandhi Municipal Complex, M.G. Road, Vijayawada-520010. 

APPSC will now send individual call letter (memo) to all candidates through post. Candidates can download the same from the website psc.ap.gov.in if they do not receive it, and download the verification of certificates. 

The commission had published notification number 21/2018 last year in December. However applications were accepted this year in January. Candidates with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Agriculture of a recognised university in the state or any other university accredited by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) were invited to apply. The exam was held on April 17, 2019, in the forenoon and afternoon sessions. 

Exam held for Agriculture Officer post comprised of two papers, I and II. Paper I was general studies and mental ability, with 150 questions of 150 marks. Paper II was agriculture with 150 questions of 300 marks. The commission had fixed a minimum of 40% for OCs, 35% for BCs, 30% for SC, ST, PH as qualifying marks.

APPSC Agriculture Officer recruitment 2019 in Agriculture Service is to fill 27 vacancies. Zone wise vacancies, carried forward and fresh, in zones I, II, III, IV are respectively 5, 9, 3, and 10.
