SSC CPO Answer Key Tier 2 Released, Submit Objection By 25 Oct!

Candidates will get 1 mark for correct answer, and 0.25 will be deducted for incorrect answer.

SSC CPO Answer Key Tier 2

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the answer key of CPO tier 2 exam today, October 22, 2019. Candidates can check the answer key and submit representations or objections until October 25, 2019 upto 10 am. 

To check the SSC CPO tier 2 answer key, candidates need to go to ssc.nic.in and click the link with text, under latest news section, “ Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF Examination 2018, Uploading of Tentative Answer Keys”. This opens the notification pdf. At the end of the notification, is a link with text “Link for candidate’s Response Sheets, Tentative Answer Keys and Submission for Challenges”. Click it. 

On the next page, you will reach the module for candidate’s response, correct answer, and submission of representations. Here, select the exam. Then on the next page, click on the click here link.

Then login with user ID and password. 

Upon logging in, candidates will see the complete question paper, with answers that the candidate has marked (responses marked as chosen option), and the correct answer (marked in green).

To submit representation, candidates have to click the challenges link and mention / select questions, correct options as per them, and reason. For every objection, candidates have to pay Rs 100 per challenge. 

The window to view questions, answers, responses and submit challenges will remain open until Friday morning only. After that, challenges in online or offline mode, any, will not be accepted.

SSC CPO paper 2 consisted of 200 questions of 200 marks on english language and comprehension. Whereas for correct answers candidates will get +1, for incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

So the formula to calculate marks as per answer key is: SSC CPO paper 2 marks = Number of correct answers x 1 – number of incorrect answers x 0.25.

Considering that the answer key is out, now SSC CPO result 2018-2019 for the tier 2 exam is expected soon, though not this month. It is expected that the result will be announced in November or December. 

SSC CPO paper 1 was held on. Its result was announced on May 25, 2019. Whereas 2,32,514 candidates appeared in the exam. 19,086 males qualified. 2,170 females qualified.

Physical efficiency test (PET), and physical standards test (PST) were held from July 22 to 31, 2019. The PET PST qualified candidates then became eligible for the paper 2. 

Staff Selection Commission conducted paper 2 of the Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF Examination 2018 on September 27, 2019. And now its answer key has been released. 

The number of vacancies to be filled through SSC CPO 2018-2019 are 97 Sub-Inspector (Male) in Delhi Police, 53 Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police/ Female, 107 Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPF. ASI executive in CISF vacancies will be announced later.
