Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has announced to issue AP ICET 2019 Result on 08 May at 11:30 AM. Previously, the AP ICET 2019 Result was supposed to release on May 06, 2019. Now, the APSCHE has postponed the result announcement date by two days. The result for the exam conducted on 26 April will release online at sche.ap.gov.in.
Candidates who had taken the test will able to download AP ICET 2019 Result using registration number and ICET hall ticket number. Once the result is available, students will able to check the qualification status and the merit rank. The admission via AP ICET is open for MBA programme in the colleges situated at the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Candidates scoring atleast 25% marks in the entrance exam will be qualified for the further stages of the admission process. The minimum qualifying marks are not applicable for the reserved category students. On the basis of merit rank, the counselling for the admission 2019-21 shall start in the month of June / July.
The exam conducting body prepares the AP ICET 2019 Merit List solely on the basis of scores of the candidates in the exam. In case, there are more than one students who have the same marks. Then, the tiebreaker rules are applicable for the preparation of merit list. So, in case of a tie, Section A ie Analytical Ability scores will be considered. Thus, high scorer in this section will get the preference. If the tie persists then the score of Mathematical Ability section will be considered followed by older candidate priority.
This year the exam conducted in 43 districts of Andhra Pradesh. The test conducted successfully without any hassle. The computer-based test consisted of three sections with 200 multiple choice questions. Candidates had to attempt maximum questions in the time duration of 150 minutes. For the correct answer, 1 mark will be allocated and there is no negative marking in the AP ICET Exam.
On 26 April, the exam conducted body issued the AP ICET 2019 answer key. The official key was released for both the shifts in the PDF format. Along with it, question paper and response sheet was also issued on the official website. APSCHE also gave the option to challenge the answer key in case of any doubts. The last date to submit the objection was 29 April. The result for AP ICET is prepared only after the consideration of all the challenges. The final answer key will be issued along with the result or rank list.
