Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) is releasing the AP ICET 2019 Result today at 11:30 AM. Candidates who had taken the test on 26 April will able to download it from sche.ap.gov.in. The result has been delayed by two days as it was supposed to release on 06 May on the official website.
In order to check the AP ICET 2019 Result, candidates need to visit the website and click on “AP ICET 2019” tab. In the new window, refer the link flashing to download the AP ICET Result. The scorecard can be accessed using the registration number and ICET hall ticket number. The result report mentions the marks and rank secured in the exam.
APSCHE releases the merit rank on the basis of raw scores in the exam. The scores are calculated on the basis of correct responses marked in the exam. In the paper, there were 200 questions from Analytical, Mathematical, and Communication ability. The maximum time limit of the exam was 150 minutes. Also, AP ICET is one of the exams which has no negative marking.
The AP ICET 2019 merit list will be released for only those candidates who will clear the minimum qualifying marks. Thus, the general category students must get alteast 25% marks or 50/200 to rank in the merit list. For the reserved category, there is no minimum cut-off required. In case there will be any ties then a candidate will have a preference in the merit position if he/she had high scores in Analytical Ability section. If the tie is still not resolved then the score of Mathematical section will be considered.
The number of students who have passed the exam will release with the AP ICET 2019 Result. However, in the last year, 45037 students passed the exam with a passing percentage of 92.60%. In the previous year, the total number of registrations were more than 48000 students registered for the exam.
About AP ICET – Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test is a computer-based test conducted by Sri Venkateswara University. APSCHE organizes the exam every year and starts the registration process in the month of February / March. The application form, admit card, answer key releases in online mode only. This exam is valid for admission to management programmes in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The final admission takes place via state counselling.
