The state education minister of Andhra Pradesh Audimulapu Suresh has released the AP EAMCET 2021 rank list in a press conference today. As per the minister, around 80.62% of students have qualified for the engineering exam.
Amongst the total candidates, Koyi Sree Nikhil, Varada Mahanth Naidu and Savaram Divakar Sai bagged the top 3 ranks respectively. Other than this, Nelluru Mourya Reddy and Kakunuri Shashank Reddy bagged the rank 4 and 5th respectively. While Midathana Pranay, Suravarapu Harsha Varma, Satti Karthikeya and Oruganti Tejonivas stood at ranks 6, 7, 8 and 9 respectively.
The results have not been declared on the AP EAMCET official portal as of now and the same is expected in some time. However, the candidates should keep their credentials i.e. registration number and hall ticket number handy to check the same. The minister announced that the rank card of AP EAMCET can be downloaded from September 09, 2021.
As per the result stats, a total of 2,59,688 candidates have filled the AP EAPCET 2021 application form. Out of the total, 1,75,868 candidates have registered for the engineering stream. A total of 1,66,460 candidates participated in the entrance examination out of which 80.62% i.e. approximately 1,34,205 candidates qualified for the exam.
Out of the total registered applicants, 1,05,779 male candidates and 70,089 female candidates sat for the exam. The final result for AP EAMCET 2021 has been prepared by giving 100% weightage to the marks scored in the written exam. The reason for this is the cancellation of the class 12th exam this year.
The students who successfully qualified for the AP EAMCET exam will now be called for the counselling session. As per reports, the counselling for the engineering stream can commence in the third/fourth week of September 2021. As per the previous year schedule, the AP EAMCET 2020 result was announced on October 10, 2020 however the registration for counselling begun on October 23, 2020. With this, we can speculate that registration for this year can start between September 21 to September 23, 2021.
The candidates have to submit the original and xerox copies of the required documents i.e. scorecard, academic certificates, admit card etc during the counselling round.
After, the counselling round the authorities will release the final allotment list that comprises the engineering branch and participating colleges they have been allotted on the basis of the marks scored and seat availability.
As per the previous result statistics, around 1.56 candidates appeared for the exam out of which 1.33 lakh candidates qualified for the EAMCET 2020 exam. The previous year pass percentage of the Engineering stream was 84.78 per cent.
