It is contemplated that, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release CTET Admit Card 2018 in next week. Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is all set to be conducted on December 09, 2018. The admit card will be issued on ctet.nic.in.
After the releasing of the admit card, the candidates who have enrolled their names for CTET 2018, between August 01 to 27, 2018, will be able to download it. The candidates will be needed to enter the Registration Number and Date of birth to download the same.
Carry a print copy of admit card along with a valid id proof is mandatory for the examination.
CTET examination will be held in two shifts for a paper I and II. The first shift is beginning at 09:30 AM and concluding on 12:30 PM. In the same manner, the second shift will commence at 02:00 PM and ending at 04:00 PM. Each shift takes 02 hours 30 minutes. The candidates are directed to report at the examination center 01 and half hour prior to the commencement of exam. The exact bell time is provided in the official notification of CTET.
CTET is being conducted in 92 cities, however, the exact exam center will be in the hall ticket of CTET. So the candidates have to check the admit card thoroughly. If any discrepency encounters then should report to the officials.
20 languages will be there in CTET this time like earlier, after the Direction of HRD Minister of India, Parkash Javadekar. The candidates had the choice of selecting any one language to appear in the exam while filling the application form.
The mode of examination will be pen-paper mode. The candidates have to mark their answer in the OMR sheet. Herein the negative marking will not be applicable. Hence candidates can mark as many questions as they want.
CBSE will release the answer key and will invite the objections of the candidates on it. All this will be done within 06 weeks after the exam. As in the official notification of CTET, CBSE clearly mentioned that result will be declared after 06 weeks of the exam.
About Exam – As the name suggests, the Central Teacher Eligibility Test is the test to get the teaching jobs in a Government school in all states and union territories of India. The first paper of CTET indicates the primary level the candidates who will clear the exam will get the eligibility certificate for the Primary Level (Class 1 to 5). Similarly, the Paper II indicate the upper primary level (Class 6 to 8).
