Amrita University has notified admissions in B.Tech course for the 2021 session. As per the official website, the University is going to conduct the Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE) 2021. This year, the entrance exam is going to be conducted in three phases in the months of April, May and June 2021. Interested candidates can visit the website amrita.edu for the latest updates of the upcoming examination. The examination is going to be conducted as a Remote Proctored Test and as a Computer Based Test in selected cities only. The University has announced the exam dates while the registrations have already started from January 07, 2021 at the official website.
Amrita University is going to conduct the AEEE 2021 in the form of Remote Proctored Test and as a Computer Based only in selected states of India. The first phase exam is going to be conducted in the online Remote Proctored method between April 07 and 15, 2021. The second phase examination is going to be conducted as a Remote Proctored Test and Computer Based Test (in selected states only) between May 07 and 15, 2021. The third phase examination is going to be conducted as a Remote Proctored Test between June 10 and 20, 2021.
Registrations for the B.Tech admission entrance exam has already commenced at amrita.edu from January 07, 2021. After the registrations end, candidates have to complete the slot booking process. Candidates have to select the slot in which they prefer to appear in the examination.
Last year, the examination was conducted as a Computer Based Test in the first phase. However, for candidates who could not attend the first phase, the examination was conducted a a remote proctored test in August 2020. This year, the exam is going to be conducted entirely in the Remote Proctored mode. The exam is also going to be conducted as a Computer Based Test, but only in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu & Telangana.
For those who are unaware, in the Remote Proctored Test, the candidate can give the test online using a laptop/PC at their home while the University Staff monitors the candidate so that they do not indulge in any unfair means to pass the exam. It is necessary to have a webcam and a functional internet connection to take the test in the remote proctored mode.
Candidates may note that the slot booking process is going to open before the first phase examination. The examination is going to be conducted in the shifts of 09:30 AM to 11:00 AM, 12:30 PM to 02:00 PM and 03:30 PM to 05:00 PM.
