The National Law University, (NLU) Delhi has commenced the registration process for the All India Law Entrance Test or AILET 2022. Interested and eligible candidates can start applying online via the official website – nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Before starting with the application process, applicants should carefully go through the official notification to know the eligibility conditions. The NLU Delhi entrance test is going to be conducted for admission to BA LLB (Hons.), LLM, and Ph.D. programmes offered by the university.
AILET 2022: How to Apply
Candidates have time up to April 07, 2022, to submit AILET 2022 applications. To know how to register for the exam, given below are the steps that can be followed.
Step 1- Visit the official website at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in
Step 2- Click on ‘New Registration’ and then select the course, specify the name, mobile number, and email ID
Step 3- Enter the One Time Password (OTP) in the provided space
Step 4- Specify the captcha and select the declaration checkbox
Step 5- After that, the candidate’s application number will be generated which must be noted down
Step 6- Click on the ‘Go to Application Form’ button and enter all personal details, center choice, contact details, family details, and academic qualification
Step 7- Upload a recent passport-sized colored photograph and signature
Step 8- Select the declaration checkbox, enter the captcha and proceed to the payment gateway
Step 9- Pay the required application fee and complete the application process.

After completing the application process, candidates must take a printout of the confirmation page. The application fee for Unreserved (UR) category candidates is Rs 3050 while that for the SC, ST, and PwD category ones is Rs 1050.
Eligibility Criteria
AILET 2022 will be held for three courses. The eligibility criteria are different for all of them.
- BA LLB (Hons) – The candidate must have passed senior secondary school examination (10+2) or equivalent with at least 45% marks. However, the ones who will be appearing for the 12th standard exams in 2022 can also apply.
- LLM – Applicants for LLM must have an LLB or equivalent law degree with 50% marks. Candidates who will be appearing for final LLB examination in 2022 can also apply.
- Ph.D – The applying candidates should have an LLM or equivalent law degree with 55% marks.

While filling up the application form, candidates can select any of the 24 cities as their exam centers. Candidates must note the important dates for AILET 2022.
