All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi will declare the result of Nursing Officer recruitment exam 2019 today. Whereas any specific time for the announcement has not been disclosed, the results are expected anytime now at aiimsexams.org.
Last time, as per records, the result was announced after 6 pm. It is expected that this time also the result will come late in the evening. However, it is important to note that the result was already delayed once, so AIIMS may publish it sooner.
This recruitment is for AIIMS New Delhi and four govt hospitals namely Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital (RMLH), Safdarjung Hospital (SJH), Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC) & Smt. Sucheta Kriplani Hospital (SSKH), Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital (KSCH.
AIIMS New Delhi had conducted the exam for the purpose of recruitment to the post of Nursing Officer, on September 15. Initially, the result was supposed to be out on September 24. However the result had to be postponed for undisclosed reasons to today’s date.
Candidates will get marks out of 200. As per their performance in exam, they will have gotten one mark per correct answer, and would have been deducted 1/3 mark for every incorrect answer. The qualifying criteria for UR and EWS is to get 50%, OBC must get 45%, SC and ST should get 40%. PWBD candidates will get 5% relaxation in their categories.

The institute will publish a merit wise list of provisionally selected candidates. It will contain roll numbers, total marks, and rank of all the shortlisted candidates. Dates for certificate verification will also be published in the result pdf.
Last time document verification was done at AIIMS New Delhi over four dates. On each day, 160 candidates were called. For all shortlisted candidates, verification letter was uploaded at aiimsexams.org around 10 days after result.
Documents required during verification shall include copy of downloaded registration slip of on-line application form, copy of downloaded admit card, certificate showing the date of birth, education qualification, INC / state nursing council registration. Further, there will be a few required documents on an if applicable basis, that are caste certificate if applied under sc/st/obc category issued by the competent authority, disability certificate if applied under pwbd category, no objection certificate if in regular employment, experience certificate.
Tie breaking is on the basis of date of birth first wherein older candidate gets higher rank, and then number of wrong answers wherein one with fewer wrong answers gets higher rank.
The exact number of vacancies in all the hospitals shall also be disclosed with the results. Last time Nursing Officer recruitment was done for 672 vacancies, divided among UR with 344 vacancies, OBC with 182, SC with 96, and ST with 50. Overall merit list, after document verification, will be released quite some time later.
