State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) of Andhra Pradesh has just now published a revised time table for the October-November 2019 exams for C 16 Diploma programs, at sbtetap.gov.in.
The time table contains exam dates for 24 diploma in engineering programs. The program wise time tables are given in this order. To start with there are Diploma In Automobile Engineering, Architectural Assistantship, Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering. Then there are Bio-medical Engineerng, Chemical Engineerng (Sugar Technology), Civil Engineering, Commercial And Computer Practice.
After that the programs are Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Garment Technology. Followed by Hotel Management And Catering Technology, Information Technology, Mechancal Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Refrigeration And Air-conditioning Engineering. And finally there are Textile Technology, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering (Petro Chemicals), Chemical Engineering (Oil Technology), Chemical Engineering (Plastics & Polymers), Petroleum Technology, Petro Chemical Technology.
The exams will commence on October 23, 2019. Whereas the last exam dates for different programs are November 4, 2019, November 6, 2019, and November 9, 2019.
To download the revised AP SBTET time table 2019, students need to visit sbtetap.gov.in, and click notifications in the main menu. Then on the notifications page, navigate to the notification on “OCT/NOV, 2019 – DIPLOMA EXAMINATIONS – REVISED TIME TABLE-REG”, against which, there is a download button. Clicking the download button downloads the complete time table in your device.
Earlier this month, State Board of Technical Education and Training, AP had issued a notification inviting applications from eligible candidates of C-16 scheme to appear for the regular examinations in October- November 2019. In that notification, it was mentioned that exam would commence on October 23, 2019.
Whereas previously a different exam time table was published, the revised one holds the new exam dates as per which exams shall take place.
Candidates can usually download hall tickets from the AP SBTET student portal. To download hall tickets, pin number is required to login.
However the notification dated September 13, 2019, by the board says, “Candidates willing to appear for the above examinations have to approach any AP Online Centre or Polytechnic where they are studying, with recent passport size photo for registration and obtain hall ticket. For this service, AP Online centre/Polytechnic operator will collect Rs.15/- from the candidate per hall ticket for Normal / Late fee and Rs.25/- for Tatkal.”
It also says, “The student can also generate the hall ticket directly by making payment through payment gateway (i.e. Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking). The candidates can make the fee payment by any of the above methods but the hall ticket will not be generated until the candidate put up the required attendance to appear for the examination. The hall tickets for the candidates will be generated only after verification of attendance. The candidate has to obtain the signature on the hall ticket from the concerned Head of Section/Principal before appearing for the examination. (Note: Before remitting the fee, the candidate shall ensure his eligibility status, since fee once paid is not refundable.)”
AP SBTET is responsible for polytechnics in AP for diploma education. Prior to the formation of board in 1957, Director of Public Instruction used to be at the helm of technical education in the state.
