The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is inviting applications for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test or NORCET 2021. Interested candidates can now apply online via norcet2021.aiimsexams.ac.in, by October 30, 2021, 5 PM. The test will be conducted to recruit nursing officers in branches of AIIMS mentioned in the official notification and as per the vacancies. AIIMS NORCET 2021 will be held on November 20, 2021.
Before applying for the examination, candidates are advised to go through AIIMS NORCET 2021 advertisement available on the official website. Now, to submit an online application, take a look at the following steps.
Step 1- Visit the official AIIMS exam website – norcet2021.aiimsexams.ac.in
Step 2- Click on ‘New Registration’
Step 3- Read the instructions and click the ‘Proceed’ button
Step 4- Follow the fourth step once again and enter details like name, date of birth, category, gender, email ID, contact number, etc.
Step 5- The login credentials of the candidate will be generated
Step 6- Fill up qualification and address details, experience details, pay the application fee, provide city choice and upload images as per requirement
Step 7- Crosscheck all the furnished information before final submission. After that, take a printout of the application form.
The application fee for General and OBC category candidates is Rs 3000 while that for SC, ST and EWS category candidates is Rs 2500. However, PwD candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. The required educational qualifications are laid down in the AIIMS NORCET 2021 advertisement.
The duration of AIIMS NORCET 2021 will be 3 hours. Candidates have to answer a total of 200 MCQs, 180 MCQs related to the subject and 20 MCQs from General Knowledge and Aptitude. Each question will carry 1 mark and there will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for every incorrect answer. The qualifying marks will be 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for OBC and 40% for SC and ST categories.
Payscale for the selected candidates will be between Rs 9,300 and Rs 34,800 along with grade pay of Rs 4,600. Candidates can make corrections or changes in the application form between October 31, 2021, and November 01, 2021 (5 PM). The final status of registration and the AIIMS NORCET 2021 admit cards will be available on the official site on November 14, 2021. The test will be conducted across the cities of India.
