All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal has published an official recruitment notification regarding the hiring of eligible candidates to be a post of Senior Resident under the Residency Scheme, 1992. Eligible and intending candidates are being invited to apply online through the website of the institute i.e. aiimsbhopal.edu.in and send the hard copies of the application form to the specified authorities. However, the hard copy of the applications can also be submitted on the day of the interview in person. Candidates must apply online and pay an application fee of Rs 1500 by Demand Draft in favour of AIIMS Bhopal in order to apply. Interested candidates are encouraged to visit the official website and check the official notification for the complete details and latest updates of the recruitment.
As per the official recruitment notification published by AIIMS Bhopal, 17 vacancies are available in all. The vacancy details are advertised through a separate document published in conjunction with the official recruitment notice. The vacancies are distributed across the departments of Anesthesiology, ENT and pulmonary medicine. 08, 05 and 04 vacancies are available across the aforementioned departments respectively. Candidates can check the detailed bifurcation of vacancies as per various constitutional categories from the website. All the vacancies are to be filled up under provisions of the Residency Scheme for a period of 03 years. Those who have partly completed residency under the Scheme are eligible for employment for the remaining time till the completion of 03 years residency.
Candidates must fulfil the specified minimum eligibility conditions before applying for the recruitment. Candidates must have a post-graduate medical degree viz. MD/MS/DNB in order to apply for the recruitment. The qualification must be MCI recognized. Candidates having DM/M.Ch qualification are preferred for recruitment in the concerned speciality. The maximum permissible age of the applicants is 45 years although 05 years of relaxation on the maximum age and 03 years of relaxation on the maximum age are applicable for SC/ST and OBC candidates respectively.
The selection of eligible applicants is to be done through interviews to be conducted at AIIMS Bhopal. However, the Institute does not reimburse any TA/DA for attending the interviews. For further information about the date and time of the interview, candidates are advised to keep visiting the website in their own interest. However online applications must be made through the website.
After the successful submission of the online applications, candidates are required to generate a print out of the filled up application form and send it to The Registrar, AIIMS, Administrative Block, 1st Floor of Medical College Building, Saket Nagar, Bhopal 462020 (MP). Applicants can also submit the hard copy of their applications on the interview date although online applications must be completed. The application fee of Rs 1500 is relaxable for SC/ST categories. Such candidates have to pay a total amount of Rs 1200. However, PWD candidates are completely exempted from the payment of any application fee.
