The All India Bar Examination 2021 will be held soon for the candidates who wish to start their practice as Lawyer in Indian Courts. As per the official notice, the examination was going to be conducted in 40 cities of India. However, it was postponed owing to the ongoing pandemic. The candidates who complete the AIBE 2021 exam are provided with a Certificate of Practice by the Bar Council of India. The AIBE examination is conducted in offline mode twice a year for eligible candidates. The authorities have released a fresh set of guidelines for the candidates who are willing to appear for the examination this year. Therefore, the candidates can go through the same to eliminate any kind of uncertainty or glitch while appearing for the same.

The Bar Council of India(BCI) has released a fresh set of guidelines made based on the SOPs and safety protocols. The guidelines are a mix of the general guidelines and SOPs as released by the MHRD. While going for the AIBE Exam, the candidates have to reach the exam centre on the day of the examination early and trace the exam location beforehand. Also, it is mandatory on the part of the candidates to refrain from carrying any stuff that could lead to their rejection.

In addition to this, the candidates have to maintain social distance on the exam centre, download the Arogya Setu app and cover their face with an N95 mask or Cloth mask. The BCI has also asked the candidates to carry their water bottle, a 50 ml hand sanitiser to avoid sharing with the fellow candidates.

According to the AIBE Exam Pattern, the candidates have to appear for an offline test comprising 19 subjects. There will be a total of 100 questions from all 19 subjects with a duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The number of questions from each subject will be different. The examination will be conducted in 11 languages and all the nature of the questions asked will be objective.

As per the marking scheme, the candidates will be getting 1 mark for each correct answer while there will be no negative marking for wrong answers. The candidates suffering from any sort of disability will be provided with an extra duration of 30 minutes to complete the test.

The BCI has also released the AIBE syllabus and important topics in the form of a PDF file on the official website. The candidates who are preparing for the offline test need to download the same from the website and prepare accordingly. The questions asked in the exam will be strictly based on the syllabus and important topics as prescribed on the official syllabus PDF. Preparing with the help of the list of topics provided by BCI will help the candidates in performing better in the offline examination.
