Agriculture Insurance Company Of India Limited is recruiting eligible candidates for State Coordinators in various states. An official notification in this regard has recently been released on the official website, aicofindia.com. Shortlisted candidates are posted at different state capitals. Moreover, there is an urgent requirement of State Coordinator in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Applications for the said posts can be submitted before the last date i.e September 22, 2020.
The post of State Coordinator is announced on a contractual period. Candidates who get appointed under this post are recruited for an initial period of 01 years which may get extended as per the requirement. The job description of State Coordinators involves controlling and monitoring District Coordinators, field supervisors and claim management agencies. They have to work on the development of a comprehensive target-oriented business plan, analysing and reporting of various critical information such as the sowing progress, etc. Monthly salary is offered to the State Coordinators which is not yet disclosed.
Applications from only eligible candidates are accepted by AIC. Candidates who have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university can submit the application for the announced post. They must possess a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification work experience in General Insurance. This 10-year experience should include 03 years experience in Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY)/ Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme (WBCIS) as a Cluster or Sate Head. Preference is given to those candidates who have an MBA/ Diploma in Agriculture Business Management. Their age should not exceed that of 40 years as on September 01, 2020.
Moreover, candidates must have sound knowledge of Hindi, English and Regional languages. They must be proficient with computers and MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc). Good communication and coordination skill and the ability to handle a team of 100 to 200 field-level personnel are desirable.

The envelope in which applicants are submitting their form should be superscribed with “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF STATE COORDINATOR for the state of ____”. Along with the application form, it is mandatory to submit self-attested photocopies of the relevant documents.
The selection for the announced posts is conducted through group discussion and/or interview round. Candidates who fulfil all the eligibility criteria are called for the Group discussion and/or interview round.
